Command Performance Peony

The fully-double 9" blossoms of 'Command Performance' unfurl to a startling cardinal-red and then fade with maturity into a soft carmine-pink. Atop 35" strong stems, this attractive garden perennial is useful both in the perennial garden and in the vase. The flowers are nicely scented especially in protected locations and as cut-flowers. Registered in 1996 and still gaining in popularity. (Hollingsworth, 1996).
